The aileo GEO platform bills by subscription plan, and each plan includes quotas across four dimensions: the number of published articles, GEO monitoring runs, source API calls and seats. When a quota runs out the API returns HTTP 402 and explicitly prompts an upgrade — there is no silent overage billing. All four quota dimensions are published on this page. Upgrades take effect immediately and existing usage carries over within the same billing period without resetting; downgrades apply from the next period. Every plan includes the full review-and-publish workflow, direct Schema structured output, and audit logs.

The table on this page is rendered server-side from the plans table; the quotas you see under “Subscription & usage” in the console match this table, and that console view is authoritative.

Metering rules

Four dimensions: what counts and what does not

All billing rules live in the server-side usage_meter table, so every deduction traces back to a specific object and operator.

Definitions and boundaries of the aileo GEO platform's four metering dimensions
DimensionUnitHow it is countedWhat does not count
Content publishingArticles One count when content transitions to “published” — covering publication through the workflow and direct output to the website after source acceptance Drafts, pending review, in review and rejected do not count; archiving or unpublishing does not refund quota; repeatedly editing the same article is not counted twice
GEO monitoringRuns One count per sample of customer × AI platform × question Viewing or exporting past monitoring results does not count; aggregate statistics for the same batch do not count
Source API callsRuns Third-party platform calls /api/v1 — each of the publish, retract and statistics endpoints counts once Unsuccessful requests — authentication failures (401), permission errors (403), rate limiting (429) — do not count
seatsSeats The number of accounts with “enabled” status in the tenant, counted in real time and not accumulated per period Disabling an account releases its seat immediately; the same account signed in on multiple devices still uses only one seat

Pricing FAQ

Five questions about billing and quotas

What happens if I exceed my plan quota?

The API returns HTTP 402 and includes the restricted metric, current usage and limit in the response body, while the console shows an “upgrade plan” prompt. The system does not auto-expand or bill silently. When usage reaches 80% of quota, the console raises a quota alert in advance.

Can I buy top-ups for a single dimension?

Yes. Platform operations can adjust a single tenant's quota per metric (including negative offsets); each adjustment is written to the usage ledger marked as “manual adjustment” and can be audited at any time.

How is the billing period calculated?

By calendar month (UTC), with period identifiers like 2026-09. Usage accumulates within a period and resets across months. Seats are a stock metric and are not accumulated per period.

Will content above the new limit be deleted if I downgrade?

No. Historical content, brand profiles and monitoring data are all retained; only operations that exceed the new plan's quota within the new period are blocked, until you upgrade or adjust the quota.

How do I get invoices and compliance documents?

Self-service subscribers can request e-invoices; contract clients receive special VAT invoices as agreed. The platform complies with China's Interim Measures for the Administration of Generative AI Services; data processing scope and retention periods are set out in the Privacy policy and Terms of service.
